I recently changed from Kaiser Permanente (CA) to Banner Medicare Advantage Prime HMO (AZ). Having been with KP for over 40 years, needless to say, I was reluctant to make this change. However, after my doctor visits with Dr. Shui (Maxwell Group), I couldn't be more happier with my new Primary Care Physician!! Dr. Shui is so incredibly personable and very caring! While I know he has other patients, whenever I come to see him, he makes me feel that I am his ONLY patient! Dr. Shui goes above and beyond to understand my medical history and he always provides me knowledgeable responses to any questions that I may have. Upon leaving my appointments with him, I always tell him "Thank you Dr. Shui for taking such good care of me!" I also have to say "thank you" to his assistant, Amber. This was my first visit and my annual wellness appt with Dr Nagata. He is personable and informative. I liked how he covered all the details of my current health status. I didn’t feel rushed nor did he ramble on, by my estimate it was just the right amount of conversation on each topic.

Dr Nagata is very thorough and conscientious, listens to concerns and responds appropriately. His MA is very good and helpful also. Talked to Debbie in billing who has been helpful as far as I know with getting billing resubmitted to insurance, which was denied, since receptionist would not take the billing information I needed to give to the staff. Outcome yet to see on that….hopefully it does get taken care of. Very pleased with Dr Nagata, MA Gabby and billing assistant Debbie.

When when arrived we were greeted by a courteous front desk staff and was called to see the Doctor right on time. My Doctor was precise, professional and had my best interest first on the list. Glad we chose the Maxwell Group.

The experience was ok; I think routine tests could be completed ahead of time to eliminate the long wait for the appointment to go over the results--more than two months. The summary of the appointment was not accurate.

I would suggest that the lab work and screenings be ordered and completed prior to the visit eliminating the need for the follow up visit, making a better use of the doctor’s time.

The best doctor patient experience I found having gone through 3 unconcerned doctors before finding Dr. Petite and his entire staff! Everyone is so caring and fast acting. We speak highly of this office to everyone we have reason to speak about health care.

It was my first ov with Dr Piette, I enjoyed it. I have to make another appointment with him for a physical. He didn't have available appointments until after the middle of June. I had other medical appointments already booked. I will be seeing him sometime in July, he is quite busy.

Dr. Nagata was a bit difficult to understand his english. He seemed to cover everything needed. Gabby, his MA, was a pleasure to interact with.

I am completely happy with my appointment with Dr. Casiano today. My labs were explained and the need to adjust my vitamin was made. I have followed my elimination diet since she gave it to me and then slowly added foods a number of foods. I am learning which foods are upsetting to my body and which foods are best to consume. The last visit was a semi annual checkup for T-2 diabetes, high blood pressure and associated medical issues. The service I have received was (as noted) great. This has been the case for all my visits for the past several years. I say this because I believe she is the consummate professional. Examples follow: explains issues in language a lay person can under stand, kind, courteous, extremely intelligent, is interested in patients background (I can only speak for this one), in addition to being a fine physician, she exhibits all the traits of an excellent human being. Overall I feel that Dr Palnati does a great job. But last year we/I had several isssues i was dealing with. We asked all of the different doctors we were delaing with at the time and asked if my medication could be the issue for me and everyone said no.... The issue eded up being my medication. Needless to say i was not happy but don't just blame Dr. Palnati as it was all of the doctors. Leaves me with not much confidence in our Medical Health Care system.

Dr. Casiano kept me waiting for her for over 20 minutes. I had to open the exam room door and ask if I had been forgotten. Had a physical. She checked all the usual body functions professionally. She talked about some irrelevant things then set me up for a CBC and return appointment in 3 months. I'll give her another chance and then reevaluate.

Listens and is very personable. She agrees with my own beliefs that diet, exercise, healthy exposure to sunshine, practicing a healthy mindset all make difference in health. It is through hard work and not always achievable or even curative. In which case Dr. Casiano will prescribe the correct prescription medications and if needed can also refer her patients to the correct specialist.

Dr. Medina, although knowledgeable, could not wait to move on to the next patient when we go to see her. She would not stay in the room and discuss how I was doing, she left and had her assistant come back. It made us feel that she didn't care about my health at all. All of this after a hospital stay for mental health issues. Very sad.

BUTTTTTT, NO ONE returned my call to the Cardiac folks Tuesday morning after I called and left a message saying they need only leave me voicemail with date and time when they can see me, and I'll be there. I CANNOT ANSWER THE PHONE WHILE I'M DRIVING: GROUNDS FOR DISMISSAL. I can call back at break times whenever they are directed. I am very upset that I waited to hear from Cardio whatever: I COULD be carrying around something serious though I don't think so, but since when does it take them more than four days to return a call TO A POSSIBLE CARDIAC PATIENT? I missed a specially planned weekend with my brother upstate... hoping to see the Cariologist first. Not remotely funny, or excusable, or professional.
